My bunny just chewed through the wire on this hanging Japanese lamp thingy I have in my living room. I leaned down to see what she was doing because the light went off and touched my thumb to the wire of the lamp and sparks started shooting out. I'm seriously glad she didn't hurt herself. I even put that stuff around the cord that protected it but she moved it and got to the wire. Dammit, now I gotta replace a lamp. Bad bunny!

rabbits are fucking annoying. my friend used to keep one in his apartment and it chewed through his monitor's power cord, an xbox controller cord, fucking ate hella paint chips off the corners of the walls. its not like it didnt have its own stuff to chew on, like corn cobs and toys, it was just a dick and liked to chew on important or conspicuous things.

keep them locked in cages or better yet outside where they belong.

Yeah, it's like having a 2 year old. We bunny proofed our place pretty well, or so I thought. I'm just glad she wasn't hurt.

It's that Japanese paper lamp thingy that's behind our love seat. I don't know if I can replace the cord or not.

I miss my house bunnies, best pets ever. To keep mine from eating through cords I blocked any entrances to the back of the entertainment center and computer desk so they couldnt get back there. I used a sour apple spray on corners and base boards to keep them from chewing them up.

In places where I could not move the cords (table lamps etc.) I wraped all of the cables in a hard spiral cord wrap. They sell it at radio shack or home depot. You can also run the cables through small plastic pipes, or even aquarium hoses.

We also had a problem with one of the bunnies burrowing under the couch and making a little den for herself under it with all the stuffing she pulled out. I just turned the couch over and attached 2X4's under the base so the bunny could not get under it anymore.

It also helps to give them a cardboard box every couple days and just let them tear the shit out of it in the middle of the floor. After a hard day of turning a big box into a small pile of flakes the bunnies dont have much evergy left to chew up anything else.
