It was very unexpected. I had some pains two weeks ago, went to the ER and they diagnosed me with gallstones via an ultrasound. then on Wednesday, the pain was out of control, so I went back to the same ER and within two hours, I was being put under. It all happened so very fast.

I had problems breathing on my own when I started coming to and so they had to administer some sort of series of bronchial treatments. The first ten hours after surgery, they were monitoring my vitals every ten minutes. Needless to say, I got very little sleep that night.

Pooh was there when they wheeled me into my room and that just put me at ease. I gave my Mom a quick call to let her know I was fine, the surgery went fine and I wanted her here in SLC instead of Dallas.

Nobody takes care of you like your Mother and mine is so well at because she knows me better than anyone. Although, Pooh is doing wonderfully.

Pooh came the next day and I was discharged around 3ish. We picked up some food that I can tolerate and came home. I immediately took a shower and felt a gazillion times better. I have four incision points/sutures and I'm having to keep clean and make sure they heal on their own. We had dinner, watched some tv and then I went to bed and passed out.

My whole body hurts. I feel like I just did the Ironman without any training. I finally busted out my heating pad today and have been rotating it all around my body. The pain meds are helping too

oh yeah, one last thing before I go pass out for a couple of hours....

a few hours before Pooh got there, I had finally started to fall asleep. I was still in and out a little bit but it was actual sleep and I have one of the weirdest dreams I've ever had to date. In my dream, when I talked, rainbows came out of my mouth, this made me laugh, which produced bubbles. I lifted my hands to touch the bubbles only to find that I am made of taffy. I speak rainbows, I laugh bubbles and I'm made of taffy. YAY for drugs!
