This shit happens all the time. I spend a very long time working on a user's issue and eventually get it fixed and let them know. They dont ever respond to emails, phone calls, w/e. We must have resolution confirmation to close out our tickets.

Two weeks ago I troubleshot an access problem for an collaborative application we use and finally got his issue sorted out server side and asked him to please attempt to log in.
No response.
I called him everyday and left a message and then sent an email immediately after calling him.
I do this again today and finally get a response.
What does it say?
"Joel,
I haven't had any reason to log in to this application yet, I'll send you an email when I do"

motherfucker it takes less time to test your login to this system than it would to type out that email.
