Ive been going to shows there for about 10 years or so. I have seen some world class djs there. Though at what point will Dallas have another venue with the size and sound system that the LL has but not the LL?

Lets start with the security, there is a guy with a handle bar mustache that just wont leave patrons alone. He is walking around disturbing people even when they are not doing anything wrong. I was asked a few times to move my beer on the table over to the right, since he said that is where is should go.

Anyone else fed up with the 16 -17 year olds that are there? who in the world let in underage people? You can always tell who they are since alot, not all the time they are curled up in the corner with there eyes rolling back into there heads and drooling over themselves. I go to the shows, pay the cover, sometimes buy drinks which they never have specials ( Deadmau5 $5 for a miller light? ) are you really being serious. If I just paid $15-$25 to get in, there went the drink money if beer is $5 each. I don't mind paying to see good talent. But Ive seen great acts in other cities where they would run specials like $2 beers and you call its till 11 or so.

Parking I know they only have one on site lot, but when they take over the lot across the streets and try charging you it become kinda sad.

I really admire the progress that Jeremy achieved in the last 10 years, he always brings in A+ talent, the artists rarely cancel. He is a really nice guy, but there should be some type of rotation between venues. If you are still reading, thank you for taking the time to read through. Uh, most bars have specials early in the night. They usually stop at 11pm. You know that clubs are businesses, right? They have to make money. Why you gotta hate on the handle bar mustache anyway?

unfortunately, yes, i have been there, and it's usually full of middle aged goths swaying to bad Cure remixes. hahaha. i think you're underestimating how young 21 really looks these days. it's scary, really.

edit: i didn't mean to be disrespectful to anyone who likes LL. it's most definitely an iconic club of Dallas, and it demands respect, but every time i've gone, it's just not my cup of tea./
