Not having a car.......
I'm slowly realizing how much it sucks to be without a car & living in Plano. I'm slowly realizing how many "friends" I actually have. Even with an offer of gas money & a drink, I can't get any of my "friends" to come pick me up & bring me home at the end of the night.

I really wanted to go have a drink @ Lift right at 12am for my birthday, but yea... that's not going to happen.

On the flip, look at it like this, Binx. You are saving on gas, time, and effort. Just celebrate with greater intent on the weekend when more of your friends can be available. Having been on foot in this city for almost 3 years at one point, I know part of your pain, but all the time was money in my pocket and led to me being healthier than I had been in some time.
