yaaaaaaarg....not knowing which salon to work at.
So I just received a call from the Avalon salon in the W Hotel. I'm going to go check it out tomorrow and interview with them. I'm also supposed to go to Style Lab and meet with the owner. I'm freaking torn and don't know which place will be better for me. My clientele is very diverse so either one I'll be cool at. I guess I'll just have to talk numbers with them and see which will benefit me more.

Hey, at least you have different places to choose from!

Numbers are a good place to start... but you also want to pick a salon that fits your personality and lifestyle. Have you asked about rules, etc. at the two? Which one fits you better? What about the other stylists? Who has people you would enjoy working with?

Which one has better opportunities for new clients? And what about going into work? Traffic? Parking? Etc.
