I laid in bed and couldn't fall asleep till the last time I looked at the clock, it was 4am = got up for work 3 hours later. there is no amount of coffee or energy drinks that can get me through this day. it'll be a long one.

I'm sure new sleeping arrangements have to do with it since I've had this problem since he started his new job. It's just a sleeping arrangement change that is out of the normal routine that's the problem, it's not being emo.
