Worthless Fucking Postal Service

I get a lot of packages. One of the reasons I left my old apt was that delivery guys couldn't get into the building, so I had to go pick up everything from the office, despite working from home. I moved to a place with more space and accessibility for my precious deliveries.

I'm waiting for a package that Amazon, in their infinite idiocy, sent via good 'ol US mail. It's supposed to be here today, so I make a point to stay home. I just went to check my mail and there was a note in there that my package will be available for pickup AT THE FUCKING POST OFFICE... TOMORROW. He didn't even try to deliver it to me, or the apt office, not to mention my complex has the parcel boxes that my package would have easily fit into, but it was on the truck, or I'd be able to go get it right now.

Why the fuck did I pay for 2 day shipping when the postal service won't even bother trying to deliver it? Now I've got to wait until tomorrow to get my stuff, and get to go over there and try to get at least a partial refund and an explanation from some worthless government employee that couldn't shine my dick if I drew them instructions in crayon.

for me... it's the fucking stupid mother fucker that has my house on his route. in retaliation for all the packages i get, he leaves my mailbox open. every day he's on route, he puts the mail in, and leaves it open. especially when it rains. all my mail is ruined when that happens. it's only mine. i called the post office to complain at least a dozen times.. still happens to this day (6 years later).

also...

Christmas time i order stamps online from them on their website. took them a month to get them to me, so all our xmas cards went out late. just amazing... they make the stamps. they mail the stamps. what gives?

At least they didn't "lose" it. They are always "losing" my stuff. I paid $45 for a bathing suit that got "lost".

Remember that actual doing this could be considered murder.

However, a clear piece of plexiglass in front of the critters, making them plainly visible, and restraining them, is not illegal.

Print up a nice note asking your postal dude, politely, to close the lid of your box, laminate it, and tac it up above the box. Leave him a tip in an envelope made out to him. Fifty bucks will make him never leave it open again and in addition to not meaning a whole lot to you, it will save all the rest of your mail from that day forward. Which, is worth 6 years of wet mail yea?
