Motivation in powder form is not as good as genuine motivation.

For example, coke, meth, or other powders, vs really wanting to do something. While powders might enhance a previous motivation such as wanting to kill someone...

Yep, I totally realize that. I guess my question really is, what do you do when you lose sight of all that? Where do you find the drive you once had? So I can't just give up, even though sometimes I want to. Eh, it's not something anyone can answer but myself so I'm not really looking for a definate answer from yous guys

I have been mountain biking in the woods to find mine. It's been nice to get outside and just take it all in. Just got back from the Oak Cliff Nature Preserve and it was a blast. Now I am going to eat and get ready for work. Today was a good day.

Right on. I've been biking but there aren't any woodsy places to bike around here

Oh and I totally fell off my bike this morning!! lol My handlebar was loose and I was riding off the curb as I left the post office, and the bars had a wack attack and I munched it. haha soooo embarrasing

regular exercise works wonders for staying motivated. even if it's just a walk in the park.

also...you might want to cut down on the consumption of nuggets (and i dont mean the kind from mcdonalds).

There are a ton of places in the dfw area. Check out www.DORBA.com under the trails section. I just got my bike this weekend and went out on the katy trail for about an hour and it was ok. Started researching trails this past week before I got my bike and the Oak Cliff joint was about 15 minutes from my place. When I went back there at some points you stopped hearing all the city noise and felt like you were somewhere far away. Lots of creek crossings, and wild life. I saw a small cat, not sure what it was but it wasn't a domestic cat as it was too big. Tons of squirrels and other critters out there too. You wouldn't think you were in the Cliff that is for sure. There are others out there too. Looking into heading out to Rowlett on Wednesday and Arlington Legacy on Thursday on my days off to check out their trails. They all have beginner and expert loops so it's worth checking into. If you got someone else or want to head out we can all meatup. But if not....it's worth checking into on your own for fun. My ass is tired after it all but man...it was so much fun!
