I just spent two nights in the hospital having my appendix removed, a swollen lymph node BEHIND my appendix removed (possibly cancerous, possibly okay) and a major repair job done from my hysterectomy in 2004. I found out that my OBGYN in Dallas that did my hysterectomy sutured the scar tissue to my bowels.

This explains why I've been in constant pain for almost four years now.

I am so overwhelmed and, yet, relieved that I finally found a doctor who knows his shit and took care of me.

I've been to numerous docs, obgyns, pain management specialists and ER's only to be told there is nothing wrong with me. NOTHING.

I have been losing my mind trying to cope with the fact that I was going to have to live with this horrid pain for the rest of my life. ugh.

I have a follow up visit with my doc next week and he will have more info on the lymph node and everything else that was removed.

I are tired and am grateful for the 10/325mg Percocet I have to get me through this horrendous recovery. My body is screaming at me, it hurts so bad. So, on that note, it's time to take my recommended dosage and get some motherfuckin' rest.

the healing process is horrid and my pain level is high - mainly in my bellybutton, where both surgeries had to go in through. getting cut twice in less than two months is making it hard times on my belly.

as for a lawsuit with the doc, I don't know what kind of cards I hold. perhaps Christian can pm me with his $0.02

I appreciate all the kind words - they do make things easier and I AM becoming a kick ass Nun Bowler (thank you for the care package Alexis!)

I wish I could help you out there but that's an area I'm more likely to do more harm than good. If you don't know any attorneys in SLC my best advice would be to start with a search of MedMal practices locally and meet with a few of them. If you do know any (or some one who does) - I'd start with them and ask who they would use if they needed MedMal representation.

i mean it sounds like you may be due something and it would be in your best interest to see if you are
