so i dont even use my facebook page but it's there and today i got an email saying someone added me and i go look and it's my fucking boss from work wtf! why would my boss even be looking me up on a site like facebook, let alone add me... better question... why is a 40 year old man with a wife and two kids on facebook anyway?!? |

Facebook is a lot more docile than Myspace so you definitely see a lot more 'professionals' and older people on there.

I use Facebook for school, and pretty much ignore all of the fluff. I was amused last Friday night. I signed on to my personal MySpace account to discover a friend request : "I was your professor for Dance, Gender, and Culture. I really dig your beats!" Kinda reminded me of another occasion a little over a year ago... I was at Amsterdam spinning a set when one of my old music professors came up to the booth, quite plastered having wandered in from the bar next door where Wanz was spinning, going on and on about how he misses having really cool students that really understand music, like me, and how he was bummed that I never took his electronic music composition class. He was so drunk that told me he was going to give me a keyboard so I could start producing. HAH! Personally, I think he was happy to find a music student performing.. in public.. without having it required for a grade. The rest was overexcitement from alcohol. A little strange, but... fuck ya!  Haven't seen him since, but hey... High fives on the excellent moment in music education.
