  | Another job bites the dust.
Got laid off today. I saw it coming. It wasn't a huge shock, but sucks none-the-less. I am the training department for my company and training is always the first to go when a company starts going in the shitter. And my company has been going in the shitter. So I am at work until 12-23-08, then I start getting unemployment (which I can't live off of). Anyone need a trainer at their company?

uhh how much do you charge for privately training? I know it wont give you bank, but any extra cash for a few hours a week I think would help

Thanks for all the kind words. I am a professional corporate trainer. I have been a training specialist and training supervisor in corporate America since 1997. I am also working on a Master's degree in the field from UNT. (Not sure how I'll pay for that now!) It's going to be rough and ugly for a few months. I just hope I can get back on my feet again very soon and not ruin my credit score in the process. At least I have a great resume and work history on my side. Unfortunately, I also make decent money, so it's not that easy to replace my job with another one that pays as much.
