Damn truckers!!!

For real you do not own the road you big SOBs!! Im just tryn to keep my car on the road and they are flying across ice laden bridges and flashing their lights at me to get outta the way. I wasnt even going slow I was going 55. WTF? My car doesn't do well on ice at all! It sucks. My one hour commute turned into 3 today. An hour of that was getting across lake ray hubbard on 30. And 635 was a mess too in Garland. I like the snow but the ice can go suck a nut!

I like to go the truck stops, sit at the counter next to truckers, and slowly put my hand on theirs.

I find they get lonely on the road and are very receptive to the attention.

Yeah Im going to just change lanes with an icy bridge 100 ft ahead of me. Yeah cause my car, my health, or that of others is less important that that trucker getting to his destination on time in icy weather. And for the record I did get outta his way. In this fucking weather though there shouldnt be ANYONE flashing lights at people going 55 mph just cause they wanna go faster. Its icy have a little patience.

Did you read I got outta his way. I just dont think he needs to be doing 70 in 60 and flashing at me cause Im doing 55 on ice!!! If you wanna drive like and idiot fine. There were two other lanes for him to do it in. On ice I cant just swoop over like on a regular day. Geez are you a trucker or something?

I feel ya PJ. I hate it when people drive like they have something to prove on the ice. Like I said in John's thread, all it takes is one little patch of black ice to put your ass in the hospital or worse. I'll drive 20 mph if I want to drive 20 mph fuckers.

would you rather him not flash?....or maybe he should maneuver around you....or lock up his brakes(on ice!!!)....its amazing to me that in the united states flashing your lights at someone is considered an insult when in fact its really an act of caution....if youd just move to the left like your supposed to it would make things a lot safer....you also have to understand he chooses his lane based upon what guys ahead of him are telling him....point is its in your best interest to get out of his way or he is going to ride up your ass or have to pass you either of which is a lot more dangerous

im not saying truckers are always right but they are more than not

and yes i drove trucks for many years so you could say my opinion is based upon experience
