| Paying extra for 2nd day air and having UPS delay your delivery
What the fuck is this shit? I ordered an outfit on the 19th and paid for 2nd day air to make sure it gets here before I have to leave, and UPS just decided to deliver it 2 days late according to the tracking information. WTF? I get traffic is heavy right now because of Christmas, but 2 day air means 2 day air. Grrr!  |

Yeah, it even says delayed on the tracking information and when you click on the link it's basically "yeah, we're not gonna deliver your package til later. BTW, when we do deliver it, it could be after 7pm when we get around to it."  Quote:

I paid for second day air and it's not here, and when it gets here, I'M GOING TO BE OUT OF TOWN and my bf is gonne see WHO SENT THE MOTHERFUCKER and know immediately what I got him.

most hubs are in TN for texas shipments. you can call and have them refund the difference. sorry budd, but my patients aren't getting their chemo on time either...

This one isn't though. Seriously, I've tracked these packages several times. Anyway, I suppose my cute dress I plan on wearing out Saturday is pretty insignificant compared to someone not getting their chemo on time. Still, fuck UPS. I try to avoid them if at all possible. Quote:

Welcome to shipping around the holidays. It means two day air for 351 days of the year. They're not going to buy and hire a surplus of jets, delivery trucks, drivers, and pilots just so they can meet their normal delivery time two weeks out of the year. It's a lot cheaper to just have a disclaimer saying your shit's going to be delivered later than usual during the holidays.

I would call UPS or the place you ordered it from if it isn't here today and demand a fucking refund dude! I understand the weather is shitty and it is the holidays but places that ship packages are usually prepared for stuff like that.
