After getting an LG Excite and using it for one day only to find out it was really slow and the touch screen sucked for fingers. I took it back to get the REAL deal touch screen. I purchased a fabulous Iphone. I was so damn happy with it until I dropped it ONE FUCKING time and the front glass broke. Of course the Iphone has no insurance

Anybody know how much they charge to fix that? It's just the glass. I could fix it but I think it voids the warranty.

If it has a warranty then why not just use the warranty to get it fixed...What kind of coverage is on it? I use sprint and have broken my phone too many times but it cost me only 50 bucks to get a replacement...Sorry to hear that you can't just get insurance on such an expensive tool...

i got the otterbox defender for my iphone. it's nto the prettiest case, but it definitely does the job.

I'm not afraid to throw that bitch across the room.

yeah warranty definitely doesn't cover that and yeah a case is absolutely necessary.

they offer replacement discounts for broken screens. just not water damage. take it to the apple store and talk to them.

they might refer you to apple because they handle the warranty stuff

my friend broke his and they gave him a replacement on the cheap.

i dunked mine in the ocean they they won't replace those. had to buy full price (bought a refurb online at at&t)

AT&T couldn't do anything. I'll check with Apple.
They did give me a name of a place that will insure them.

Called apple. First customer service rep said they will discount it and send you a new phone. That will be $200. I said I just spent $200 on it yesterday give me a manager. Manager hooked it up. They are sending me a new phone and they are paying to overnight it. I'm happy.
