OK, so you want to do a maintenance on a Saturday night at 1am...fine. It's the only time the customer is willing to do it and they pay us a lot of money...fine. But come to the maintenance a little fucking prepared. I've got my side prepped and ready to go 10 minutes before the window starts; the vlan is deployed out to the switch fabric & the ports are sorted so my side will take 5 minutes, tops. My shit is covered. Meanwhile you start the bridge 15 minutes late, which technically is my bridge because you can't find the passcode to your bridge because you're a dumbass who doesn't prepare ahead of time. At least you have the customer firewalls pre-racked in the cabin-oh, you don't have them pre-racked? At least they're configu-oh, not configured either? OK, I'll just sit here and stare at my monitor for the next 2 hours while you try to pull your head out of your ass.

I'm obviously not cut from the same idiot slacker cloth as these court jesters.

First i would like to ask whether or not this has been resolved ? If not that prolly because your a prick to everyone you speak to, I deal with your type day in and day out. You call the store acting like your problem should be our number one priority and when it takes awhile to fix it you get pissed. Understand we are a billion dollar company and as such we do have plenty of problems to work with, I mean what makes you think your the only problem in the world? In the Texas region alone we make over 1000 deliveries a day, Thats alot of shit to deliver. So yes things get messed up sometimes and yes every so once and awhile we do buy a deffective set and normaly are quick to stop carrying it. But we are not in the buisness of returning merch as that is a major loss of resources and money, So when the manager offers a return reselect He/She are just trying to help and i would say you should prolly take it. So the next time you call us or for that matter any customer service i would suggest that you be nice to them as these are the people you are relying on to fix your problem and do hold the power not help you at all. I mean shit do you people even read the Contract you sign when you buy shit this expensive. So as a finishing note i would like to say that you all fucking suck and if you would like to have a problem resolved in the future, Dont do stupid shit.

One of my co-workers has been here 2 or 3 years longer than I have and can't even add a default route to his pc without fucking it up somehow. He dicked around with reprovisioning some voip phones for about 3 hours until I decided to make him hand the ticket over to me.

Yea, 5 hours later and we rolled back all the changes to get his environment back up. The co-worker said in his email to higher-ups that there are "significant routing & ip addressing issues to solve". Bitch, everything was routing fine. It's your craptacular ASAs & your obsolete load balancer that are the problem. We routed netblocks where you wanted them, you're the one that doesn't know wtf he's doing.

We had a 5 hour window, and half of it got blown by him not having his shit together. I mean, he was working on these firewalls for a good 3 days. How do you not know they're going to be using NAT internally beforehand?

Our shit is on site and our maintenance window is slightly over a day. I get a burger and argue with a waitress on the way there. The only thing I worry about is the colo shit.
