 | What I get for taking a break..
So I stopped exercising at the beginning of last fall. I tend to work out a lot for a few months, then take a break for a while. This break lasted longer than normal. Well, Saturday I was doing some declined bench presses w/ dumbbells. As I'm rolling forward to get out of my set, my back pops, and my back muscles twitched and then kinda got sore. Now they are really sore. It's not a serious injury, but dammit, a massage would be good right now. /stretches back muscles in chair

Yeah, I was doing some decline situps the other day, and thought I gave myself a hernia. One of my lower abs popped audibly, and everything felt really funky for a couple of days.

You should take up cycling. Even when you're not actively training, all the gay sex should keep your sit-bone callouses prepped and ready for the spring.

yeah, I really shouldn't take extended breaks anyways... Esp now that I am an old man... Hopefully I can just be careful and not push it bad enough to cause anymore damage. I'm dropping the weights instead of rolling out of my bench presses w/ weights in hand until it's healed completely.
