Ugh, I'm trying to see the bright side and thankful I have a job but man, working 50 hours a week and then running around to photograph drunk white people for the Observer has me spent.

Plus I've been working a bizarre split schedule this past month cause of a project.

Five hours in the morning (7:30am til 12:30pm) then I'm off for 4 and half hours before returning to work at 5pm (5pm to 10pm). Monday through Thursday.

SLEEPY!!!

Bright side is I work 5 hours on Friday morning and I'm out. Saturday mornings I end up working from home for about 4 hours.

Dunno, that split schedule sounds kinda cool. At least you have time to get stuff done during the day.

And yeah, I feel you on the time crunch. I pull 50-60 hour weeks, and just went back to school full time. Not much time for a life.

I hear you on that one. the bad news about unemployment going up is those of us who remain employed have to work longer or harder.

The split schedule is like Communism to me. It sounds good but when you do it and have to sleep in 3 or 4 hour increments, it sucks.

I used to work split shifts at the radio station...it was absolutely terrible. 4 or 5 hours really isnt that much time. After you factor in drive times...that 4 hours you thought you had off turns into 2.5 hrs, which is enough time for a bit of food and a nap. suckage

That's my afternoons, the 4 and half hours isn't nothing. I come home and grab a bite and a quick hour nap.
