Today is going to suck big hairy balls

We were moving boxes to our new town home throughout the night last night till 3am. We ran out of boxes, so had to unpack when we got to the place and bring the boxes back to repack them. Then get up at 8am this morning, to go get a uhaul. We are so freaking tired. Jason won't even get out of bed yet.

I don't even know if we have a truck because we didn't reserve one...greatness. We couldn't find anyone to help us move, so I guess I'll be seriously testing the muscles.

After all the moving is over today - we get to go straight to Afterlife and freeze our asses off because Jayson has an opening gig. Ugh, I'm so tired right now, I can't even imagine how exhausted I'll be later tonight.

1) Next time buy more boxes before you move.

2) Don't pack at the last minute.

3) Hire movers.

Makes moving a lot less torturous.

My predictions were right, yesterday sucked. We did go to AL, but we didn't last long. We got there at 9 and there were already people there tripping balls. I think we left before midnight lol I froze my freaking ass off. Tabs would have made the cold even worse! lol F that

Luckily, we made it to uhaul in time. They had 1 truck left at 8:30am. And it wasn't one of those monsters.....whew!!

Jason found a friend to come help us move. And after it was all over with, I knew we couldn't have done it on our own.

Learned that Goodwill doesn't accept furniture. We were getting rid of a loveseat and a recliner.

Karen - 10 pack of boxes at uhaul was $40! lol And I started packing 2 weeks ago, but running out of boxes, you have to wait to get to the new place to unpack to have the boxes back. I was prepared for it. You can't just find boxes at dumpsters anymore these days. Everyone either sends them back or they go in a compactor. I save my boxes from past moves. So I already had a bunch of them in the outdoor storage. Thank god I kept those. Last time I hired movers, they were scammers and charged me $500....hell to the no.

Just a couple exits down the tollway. Went from Keller Springs/tollway to Spring Valley/Preston-ish area.
Found a nice 2-story 2BR/1.5 bath 1200sqft townhome for the same rent as what my old smaller apartment was trying to jack up my rent to.

That's why you hire decent movers with a good reputation. Apple movers is pretty spot on in my experience.
