I would wager to say that since you got married, you probably hardly ever go out. Why would anyone want to go through the hassle of jumping through hoops to set up a play date when they can just go chill with their go-out pals? If you want to kick it, then make an effort to kick it. The ball is basically in your court since you are at squid/wifey-owning status now. That's the basic attitude I've always had regarding my married friends.

Eh, for me that whole homebody thing wore off after a bit. Now I just tell the wife to stuff it and go out anyway. I can't rave it up for 3 days straight like I used to, but that doesn't mean I can't still hit the weeklies. Having a real job put more of a damper on my partying than marriage and kids did.

I'm down to do whatever. I'm with Zymote in the fact I've been in this house for 4 months. I'm good on the being at home thing and ready to run a muck. But yeah working during the week fucks up my hitting weeklies. Shit now that i work the night shift people be going to sleep on me.

You find out pretty quickly who your real friends are when you have a family and a real life to take care of. I lost a big chunk of friends that were all about rave life that would never do anything that didnt involve getting fucked up and going to the clubs all night. The important ones are still around and I still see em on a regular basis, the others became just acquaintances that I only see when Im at a club.
