Why are some people so pathetic and annoying?

So I know this guy from my cycling club... have known him for 2-3 years now. I rarely see him... except at a bike rally or out at White Rock Lake. I send him my race reports on occasion... because I know he's into that stuff.

I send him a race report from this past weekend.... and he's been annoying me ever since.

First I got an email. Fine. I replied. No biggie.

Then I got a text message at 7:30 AM today. A bit earlier. And it says, "HI".

So I reply back, because I don't want to be a bitch, "HI".

He replies back, "Hi triathlete".

Whatever... how fucking annoying. Shit, if you are going to send me a freaking text... SAY SOMETHING.

THEN... I get another email from him... asking for tri websites. I give him the name of one. Again, trying to be nice.

He replies back with,

Thank u very much Karen I owe u one I hope to see u soon
Once again thank u

I mean really, a simple "thanks".... or no response at all would have been fine.

This guy can be so annoying. Not sure why I even entertain any contact with him.

Oh, and don't get going on when I picked up my phone by accident a year ago... it was him... to which I had to listen to his "woe is me, I can't find someone to marry" bullshit for a good hour. FUCK!
