I got evicted from a place I was staying because I started dating Caroline, whom my roommate was into. I wasnt on the lease as an occupant though. They packed up all my shit into a couple pickups while I was out and called me and said "where do we put this?"
Fucked up thing is we had talked about it the day before and I agreed that I would move out, I just had to find a new place.

Ok. THAT is where I would draw the line. She's an adult and can make decisions and SHOULD be responsible about them. But that poor dog can't help it's condition and she's definitely not going to. I would take the dog to a shelter or something. That's just sad.

She says it's not mange, but some other skin disease. Either way the little bastard sheds everywhere, stinks, and is always scratching. The dog is 15 years old, I think a shelter would immediately put it out of it's misery.

Oh no!! Thats the worst. Its suffering and needs to be put down. My neighbors where I grew up had more than one dog with the mange, and they just let the poor thing suffer on a chain in the back yard. At one point it looked like a zombie dog. Very sad.

Damn Kenny, sorry to hear you're having to deal with such BS. You are for sure a nice guy to put up with that for so long. I've had many issues with roommates in the past, but I find the easiest way to deal with them is to give them an opportunity to get out without owing you anything so at least you can keep the semblance of friendship. Find out what needs to be done to get her off your lease as anything-even an occupant. If there's anything of value that she is willing to leave you so that you can recoup expenses (those were some nice paintings/photos you have in your place), then offer her that option so she can just get her clothes and get out. I'd put the dog in a carrier somewhere other than your place and tell her you'll sell him to pay off her rent she's been ditching too. Make it as easy as you can for her to choose to leave on decent terms and she is more likely to do it.

The only other thing I did to get rid of a girl who was in my face telling me she wasn't gonna pay a dime is I got with my landlord to get a copy of an eviction notice. In Oklahoma, we were required to give a 5 day notice to "Pay or Quit" which gave them 5days to get out without payment or must pay total amount due ($1175.00 was what she owes,right?) to stay. I served that "Tiphannie" bitch with the eviction papers while she was laying around on my couch with her squatter husband and she started threatening to beat me to death so I called the cops. Because there was an unbiased witness there to corroborate the story, she was charged with assault and I eventually had to go to court to get a protective order which meant that bitch got out of my house immediately the same day the Sheriff served her with the protective order paperwork. So like I said, it's so much better to deal with it amicably 'cause dealing with cops and court is never easy or fun.
