The work I do at the Red Cross is planning for an EF-5 tornado hitting Dallas and affecting 250,000 people, with 40,000 seeking shelter due to destroyed/damaged homes and 62,00 requiring feeding. We are using damage models and case studies that the National Weather Service has done, using the May 1999 Moore, Oklahoma F5 tornado -- and overlaying that damage path across Dallas.

I work in Mass Care which is Sheltering, Feeding and Bulk Distribution. The plan is massive.

Dallas is long overdue for a significant tornado.
