Again, cash doesn't make a fucking difference. You still have to deal with splitting the check up amongst yourselves. And if your wage is dependent on tips, I'd think you'd be willing to help out a little. That guy not only lost probably $50-60 in tips from being completely unhelpful, he lost the ability to seat 2 parties of 4-6 people at those tables for an hour. This crap happened to us at Gloria's a few months ago. It was my sis-in-law's bachelorette party, 15 single person checks, grat was already added. We also took 45 min to split our checks, calculate tax and grat, give the guy 15 diff cards, and then he comes back and tells us we gave him the wrong totals and we needed to subtract the grat from them!!!! Not only that, he insulted us, so after I ripped his ass I chewed off the manager's. A few min later the waiter brought us individual checks (apparently he had to void the big one and ring in 15 individual new checks), and the manager brought shots of patron on the house. I'm still pretty pissed about the whole thing.

The bill was 900 bucks. I don't think any of us wanted to pony that up for the sake of quickness and so the guy could seat another table.

I didn't give a FUCK if he needed to turn his table or not.

And since our part of the tab was $48... yeah, we weren't paying the $900 tab ourselves. Shit, even splitting it evenly amongst everyone would have screwed us.

Anyways, like I said... the place was dead. On a Friday night. Other places on McKinney were packed out.

They will get theirs in due time.

Any POS can split a tab any way you want it. Unless they're handwriting their orders and ringing it up on an old fashioned cash register, it was just the management being dicks.
