Yeah, I hate that shit too.

I can understand someone being "in the weeds" and whatnot but when they're passing your table by or you're having to ask a fucken busser/other waiter twice it gets really annoying.

I hate being sat at a table.........then after a couple minutes of waiting, another party is sat in the same section...and the flippin' waiter/waitress goes to that table first.

haha - my wife's actually spoken up to a waiter that did that and said, "excuse miss, but we've been waiting here longer than they've been seated could you start with us please?" and got good results. That's more of a host/hostess fuck-up imo.

how is it the host/hostess' fault.. the waiter can't see that another table has been seated in their section?

what if it is a busy night and the host/ess has already rotated the sections and it's that section's turn again?
