So Matthew has to miss the rest of the week (preschool) because of the dumb ass staff at this bullshit ass hospital.. checked him for the flu/rsv which was completely fuckin stupid since he had NO symptoms besides a fever.. and totally ignored every symptom i said he had..

Our pcp wrote a letter this morning for me to file a complaint (altho they are all probably loving the voicemail i just left) for giving the total wrong diagnosis.. his poor little ears are apparently so fucking inflammed that its causing a total breakdown with the rest of his little body. Traces of blood in his urine (which I guess isnt as scary as it sounds and caused by the severe ear infection) and a serious infection in both ears..

AFTER the er sends us home thinking he has a fucking virus with NO meds and now its going to take that much longer for him to get better.

thanks a lot assholes. rushing us in and out and only worried about the fucking swine flu.. give me a break, hes 3 years old and suffering like a motherfucker since he had the past few days to get WORSE than he was before i took him to the damn hospital.

those motherfuckers got me bent if they think they can bill us some ridiculous amount of money. i already made a complaint with insurance and the hospital. they messin with the wrong girl.

dr told me to!! i called our doc and they were closing and the nurse urged me to go to the er since his fever was getting out of hand.

more than anything im just pissed that they fucking ignored everything i said and went on with just checking for the flu.

guess thats why i kept the venting to TYPING instead of yelling at myself?? its only me and the babes at home so not really anyone to get mad at.. but im still mad. and hes gonna be ok, watching wubzie things are lookin better..

and this is our first ear infection.. so its really scary and i feel totally helpless since i cant really do anything to help him

misdiagnosis happens all the time...just take care of the little one....its happened to us......it was an ear infection also...the kiddo will pickup on yalls anger

probably because fever getting out of hand is a main sign of H1N1. did they not swab him for type a flu?

that was my initial reaction, as well because there was no visible blood in it.. but the dr said that there were traces you cant see it came up in the test and that is very common for boys when they have an internal infection..??

Too late for this now, but this maybe helpfull in the future to compair hospitals, although I don't know the process they gather their data with.
