I don't know this person that stole from you or even know you for that matter but I can totally relate to this whole situation...I let someone stay the night at my place one night, gave him food, let him surf the internet, and on top of that got him drinks at the bar...I did not notice it till about a week later because of work and all but there was a thousand dollars of equipment that I recently purchased that just walked out the door...The dude gave me all this contact information for myspace and facebook and ended up blocking me from being his friend and sent me this email pretending to be his father saying that he is out of the country til the end of the year and that he will pass the message on...Sucks when you lose out when you were just doing a favor...

man, this thread totally delivers. Strangely enough, I have a not-so-friend-anymore named Austin that stole from me recently and he is a fucking addict, too. This is in San Antonio though so not the same guy. Interesting trend here.

Addictive drugs make people do some funny stuff. And my Austin, if you ever see this just know that I won't forget that you stole my games and cymbals for H money. Just when you think it's safe to come back from the pawn shop or shooting gallery, I'll be there with my Louisville Slugger.
