yeh I know what you're talking about. Thats what Mexican is like in NY. I had some fucking amazing tacos in brooklyn and that hot sauce really grew on me. We pretty much eat Tex Mex across the board. Took me a second to figure that out.

Eric S is technically correct though, as I understand it southwestern food is basically texmex with regional variations cause I think it all came from here. I was really only just trying to mess with Micah and Eric. I honestly don't know shit about Mexican food or care. I just had one item i'm looking for and it's different here than back home.
