I cannot stop eating Taco Cabana

What I'm *actually* craving is Tacos y Mas, but we don't have those here so I'm having to settle for chicken fajita tacos from Taco Cabana with lots of cilantro and a dash of lime. The problem is I've been craving them EVERY DAY for like a couple of weeks now. About to make my third trip in less than two weeks. It's the cilantro I think I'm craving more than anything.

Nope all I ever find is shitty Texmex not the same as real Mexican. The tortillas are wack ass store bought from Kroger shit. Not the good home made stuff. (for example)

lol then you need to find authentic mexican, trust me there's loads of that too. You could go down Loop 12 till you hit the mexican area, they don't speak much english but they serve some good taco's and other stuff.

honestly i don't care for that much of authentic mexican food, I'll take Tex-Mex any day of the week.

You tell me one place cause none of them have ever heard of it. I gave the dudes at taco cabana exactly what's in it and instead they brought out a burrito with black beans in it. It was gross.

I've hit up: J Pepe's, JessMex, Taco Cabana and a few random hole in the wall joints.

Man, you're not going to the right places if you can't find all that stuff. Go to Walnut and 35 and start going back east. Go down loop 12, all of east dallas.

i know you're still new but trust me, there's tons of places like what you posted.

Hell you can even go to Papasito's, Gloria's, Uncle Julio's, there's a place that starts with an M but i can't think of it off the top of my head. There's just hundreds if not thousands of mexican and tex-mex restaurants to eat.

oh and Taco Cabana does have carne asada, i've gotten it before.
