Disclaimer: This does not apply to everyone, just want to make that clear.

I’ve always wondered why the self-proclaimed atheists and agnostics always give the believers and Christians a hard time about believing in God. Their argument is that the belief in God is ridiculous because it’s not based on science, like evolution and the big bang theory are. They rant and rave about how dumb people are for siding with faith when they side with hard scientific theory and proof and yet they are the first ones to proclaim the greatness of homeopathic medicine and alternative medicine over ‘Western’ medicine.

You’re dumb for believing in God! We came into existence through natural selection and evolution. I can’t argue this with you know, I’m getting my stage IV cancer treated with a ginger rub and lemon grass smoothie.

Deny god based on your belief in science but put your faith in medicine that has not been proven to work. Got it.

oh and i have always thought the rationale for both being against believing in god and modern medical science has to do with the size of the ego on the individual. they tend to believe that they are smarter than everyone and are just further evolved. pretty rofl

Yeah growing up in California I remember a lot of people just down right hostile towards Christianity in particular. They'll say shit about not believe in God and then trash the bible but when I ask them about other religions that also believe in the same God like Islam and Judaism they refuse to say anything negative (unless it's about Isreal).

The hate's only for Christians. Why?

some people say science is like a religion because most blindly follow whatever science says. and nothing in science can be proven. think about how science has changed in just the last 50 years.
