i dont know what they cook, eat, or grow in there. But ever sense they've moved in, the entire hall/stairway stinks...like bad. It seeps into my apartment. Fucking gross. I fucking spotlessed my pad today and can't enjoy it fully coz of that funky ass stench floating around. nasty.

my brother lives in a japan..... 1st floor in his building smelled bad cause the old man who lived their died on the toilet. took ppl over a wk to figure it out

Curry's the only thing I can think of that would consistently smell that bad. I like Curry, but when you cook with it every day it seeps into EVERYTHING. My parents rented a house from some Indians years back, and we COULD NOT get the smell out. It was in the walls and the carpet and everything.

If not, they may just have a nasty apartment with mold in the kitchen and shit.

EDIT: Second worst was when my mom was pregnant and wanted to eat sauer kraut every fucking day for like a month. I got sooooo sick of that smell.

truth. when I was a little kid my best friend was an indian boy and his mama cooked with curry all the time. when I would come home after spending the night my mom would wrinkle her nose and tell me to wash my hair. I thought it smelled like burned cheetos.

btw, I LOVE curry these days. my favorite is thai panang. mmmmmmmm.

that would be my guess. Once that curry gets into things it stains like cigarette smoke. After a while, everything smells like Beirut.
