For the fucking lose.

And, of course, the nail I ran over happened to go through the side so I have to buy a new tire instead of patching it. Luckily my son noticed the air leaking out in the garage and alerted me to it so I could get it to the mechanic in time for them to slap the spare on it. Still, this is the last thing I needed. Grrrr!

you know you could of spent $20 on that tire insurance and got a brand new tire for basically that $20.

I do it for all my tires, also there's a loop hole there. You can go pop your tire and they still have to replace the whole tire (free) and you can just spend $20 dollars on a new. You can do this for an entire set of new tires if wanted. (just space it out monthly / every other month)

They did have insurance on them, but they're way over the age/mileage to get them replaced. I was actually about to have the back two replaced because they were starting to get a little dry rot or whatever, but of course the flat happened in the front one. Figures.

Yea, I tried taking an extreme left turn last night, blew out my front tire and almost blew out my back tire also.
It was a fun and expensive lunch-break today.

You should keep an air compressor in your trunk to inflate your tires if they go low. That way you dont have to drive it flat to wherever you will be taking care of it.

$12 at Walmart and it has saved my ass more than a few times.

i also got a flat today on my way to work.

2nd time in 2 months, same tire even.

mine happend twice in one month! same tire as well........

2nd time i had to stand out in the rain on the freeway. that was noooooo fun.

made me miss my friends baby shower.

Take it to one of the Mexican tire places. They'll patch anything, and for cheap. When I worked construction I was always running over nails, and they would fix anything I brought, sidewall or no - don't listen to Discount Tire's "safety" pitch.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever bought a new tire. The last set I got lasted me 60k miles, and I paid $150 for 4, mounted and balanced. It was off McKinney in Denton, over by Harpools.

I had to replace mine about 3 weeks ago, put me out $400+ for two. One had a chunk of metal in it and the other was worn down. =/

I got the insurance on them this time.
