I always thought it should be included at the top of the main forum pages and the calendar but not within specific threads, if that's possible.

I don't think it's possible. Well... ANYTHING is possible but programming that is a bitch considering this is a vbb board and not one we built ourself. THeir programming is a bit hard to get around so if we put a banner up, you will see it everywhere...
