I'm loving the new changes, BUT y'know how when you're looking in the forum and it says who the last person posted in a certain thread? Well it still shows that person's name, even tho they are on a ignore list, and it would be nice to not be able to see that they posted at all, since when you do get in the thread it's as if they never posted at all, but yet it shows their name as posting in the thread when you go in the forum, if they were the most recent poster.

Did that just make any sense?? lol....anyway...just a suggestion

haha, not quite sweetie.....to put it simply, the reason they are on my ignore list in the first place is b/c I choose to pretend they don't exist, and when I see their name as posting in a thread it reminds me that they unfortunatly still inhabit this earth, and what's really the point of an ignore function if you really can't ignore them 100%?

So what happens if you ignore someone, and then they are quoted by someone who is not on your ignore list? Can you read where they were quoted?

I've never hated any of you enough to ignore you, so I'm just curious.

hmm....that is a good question and I don't know.....but I do know that if someone on your ignore list is quoted, then yes, you can read their quote....which that part doesn't bother me really. (i'm kinda curious now about the starting a thread thing too tho)

I never hated anyone (or just didnt give a crap one way or another) to put them on my ignore list.....but lately it seems like everyone and their dog is getting on my nerves lol....now I have a whopping 4 peeps on my list haha.

It will show up on the forums homepage if it was the last thread replied in, but when you actually go into the forum it will not exist. At least thats what happened when the one person on my ignore list started a thread.

It's not possible to ignore what someone said if it's quoted in another post. There's no user ID or anything tied to a quote in someone elses post.

I'm not sure if it would be possible to not see if a person that's in your ignore list made the last post in a thread. Well, rather, it's certainly possible but I think it would involve a lot of work. For now, I think the changes we have made will work fine

There is only 2 people that got on my nerves with their post whoring enough for me to block them. One of them actually got better, and I removed her from the ignore list, the other, will probably never be removed.
