Music is my life, it's my career, and I take it serious in all aspects. Dallas is my home, it's where I was born, where I started MCing and have grown as an MC. The DJ's, MC's, and Promoters have worked hard to make a name for themselves and our city. And maybe not all of us care about being takin seriously, but there's those of us who have worked their asses off to get the respect of the locals, the out of towners, and the headliners. And that stupid ass logo doesn't represent our music, our scene, or our culture. It's funny, I laughed when I saw it. But it doesn't represent what this scene is about, it makes of fun it. I'd rather be shot than mocked or laughed at.

You're right it is a forum, you state your opinions and debate over the topics which is exactly what I'm doing. I personally don't like it, I gave my reasons. And I wasn't trying to give selfish reasons, I think my reasons are pretty general. The only way I can put it is from personal opinion. If you think I'm big headed and into myself, then you obviously don't know me, and congratulations for being way more into the "scene" and "music" than I i'll ever be. What exactly makes you more into the scene and the music than anyone else?? We all go to parties, some of us throw them, some of us are on the booking, we all obviously listen to the music and support are locals.... I mean, what makes you more into the scene?? Is it because you know alot of people, or people know you? Who are you?? I don't think I'm the one that needs to get over anything...

first off.. you're the one all "i take my music serious and blah blah blah.." i'm glad you give your opinions, but i know they are wrong. nobody is going to look at dallas as a joke because if it. in fact, i've had quite a few top dj's from around the world get a kick out of it. and no... they don't think "dallas' edm scene" is a joke. as for who i am and what i've done... it's not hard to figure out who i am and what i've done. quit taking it all so serious.. it's *just* music... and it's *just* a forum for baby jesus' sake.

My biggest problem with it is what do the characters of "Dallas" have to do with DDM. I know labels and artist will put characters or cartoons in there logo's, but it's generally because it relates to them. Yes the title of the show was "Dallas" and it was filmed here, but that show doesn't relate or represent anything in DDM, just a name. I used to watch the show back in the day, I went on the "Dallas" studio tour as a kid, so I'm not tryin to diss the show. I guess if you're goanna have a pictur in the logo I'd rather have something that when folks look at it, they know right off the bat what we're all about. That image explains and tells all or go no pic and make a tight design out of it. But what does that picture represent, what does it say about us?? Not a damn thing, might as well throw Chuck Norris Texas Ranger up in that bitch too.
