| Finding old threads
This is the first discussion board I've ever used, so I'm not familiar with the way things work. If I post a message on a certain thread, I'd like to go back and see what other people had to say about my comment. Sometimes I can find the thread, but other times it's gone. Is there any way to search for it if you know the topic? Or does it automatically get bumped if there aren't any posts for a certain amount of time? Please help!! |

There is a search function that allows you to search all threads in a certain forum or the whole board. If you click on search in the menu in your top left corner you will be taken to the search page. One handy thing is that you can search by username so that it will display only posts by that user. So if you put in your username you'll see all your posts. Of course if you remember the subject of your thread just type that in. Some forums are pruned after a certain amount of time though. Useless Blabber and Rave Rants are the only forums that are periodically cleaned up of old posts, all the others should be archived for at least 6 months. I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to help. |
