it is rather annoying when it takes forever to scroll through a thread because everyone is a promoter and posts about parties in their sig lines instead of the calender or in an actual post.

so basically you can slap the label "promoter" on anyone and that gives them free reign to be obnoxious with their tactics??? im more likely to go to a party that i get ONE flier for and read ONE thread about than a party that is over promoted for. i wish someone would come up with some promoter ettiquette or something cuz some people's approach to promoting is just plain crappy.

You know what, Jon? That really hurts my feelings! I work my ass off for this group of DJ's. I'm not just some promoter out there giving up their free time to be "in a group"! I am a part of them! I don't just do promoting for them! I help them with a lot of things to get us going in the right direction. I'm sorry that we are trying to get the word out on a new venue. I can't just put one thread up there and expect people to come out to hear our DJ's. All this negative ness is what brings our scene down!
