wont let me log on

The bottom of the list shows BOTH of my user names as logged on...and if i try to post it says im not logged on...and i try to log on and it says THANK YOU FOR LOGGING ON but it wont let me log on. WHY WHY WHY???? grrrrr I mean my computer wont even be on...and someone will say they see my name still on there and im not logged on.

do you have any kind of blocks on your computor?...it makes it harder when you do

no i dont have any kind of blocks on my name, my boyfriend uses my computer with a different name and it lets him get on just fine.

I see you are using AOL. There are known problems with the AOL browser. It has alot of problems. I would suggest trying to use Internet Explorer or Netscape and see if you are still having the same problem.

If you do, then you might try clearing your cache. I don't know how to do this in the AOL browser since I don't use it personally. Perhaps some other AOL savvy users might know how to do this?

If none of that fixes it, let me know and we'll go from there. Thanks!

yes i have cleared my cache already...tried internet explorer and netscape and so on.....it really pissiz meeh off because i cant get any of my messages now.

This might be a stretch but is there any way you could try logging on from a different computer? This would help in determining whether the problem is on your computer or on our server.

but it lets me log on and off this name fine...and like i said it lets my boyfriend get on and off his name fine too. no fair...but im getting someone to check it for me. I have had other people tell me the same thing too though...that they wont even be on their computers but their names will show up on the screen at someone elses house or something.

aiight...i got my friend to check it from where shes at...and it let her get on...and it finally logged the name off...then i tried to do it on my computer...and it said thanx for logging on yada yada..but still wont let me do sh*T...i dont understand why it will let me on this name but neither of those names. this blows. If it is my computer....then what do u think i can do to fix it????

The only thing I can think of is to make sure that you clean your cache, clean your cookies and delete history and try again. That has to be it somehow.

I'm really sorry you are having problems Give that a shot again and see if it helps. After you've cleaned your cache, cookies, and history, close your browser and reboot for good measure.
