Although I'm preaching to the choir, "Ms." is acceptable as well. It is understood by most to represent a young woman of either married/unmarried state, but allows them the ability to proclaim their status upon further inquiry.

There is no shame in doing as such. "Mrs." may command a bit more respect (and tell on their single status), but "Ms." leaves it open-ended and lets you know who will treat you how outright (regardless of the additional "r" in the title).
