Was my Luxe account disabled? I get this message whenever I try to post:


Luxe, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Any accounts whose email addresses were bouncing need to be confirmed. Login to your control panel, update your email, and then confirm it and you should be all set.

I updated that account with my new email address, which is the same one I used for this new account that I am using right now. Now the Luxe one is saying it needs to be confirmed again. Will this be a problem since I used the same address that I used for this account? If we have to choose one, then I would like to keep the Luxe one please.

You can't just update your email. If your email hasn't changed, you have to change it to something, then change it back to the one you have always used. What's the point of that admin?

I didn't have to change anything, just get to the screen and hit 'save changes' and it worked.

And btw, I have to validate/delete moderated posts one by one. Posting the same message half a dozen times in half a dozen threads is a jackass way to get attention.

I tried just saving it, and it didn't send the email. I switched it, then switched it back, and it immediately sent the email.

I'm a jackass, so it falls right in line. Really intended that work the supposed only paid mod. Still not sure why it puts me in n00b status by updating my email. Sorry.

I don't know what started the whole thing, perhaps Dave can explain. I had to update mine as well, though as mentioned earlier I didn't do anything other than hit 'save changes' and it all seemed fine. Maybe a database corrupted or something, I don't know.
