User post counts shifted to lower number

Ugh... I did it again, I accidentally pressed the "Update user post counts" Because it's right next to another button I press often.

So if your post counts changed, I am really sorry. PM me with what your original post # again if you wish and I will change it

A long time ago we suggested the same thing; To remove the post count completely so that there's no discussion on how many more posts I have than you etc. The overwhelming majority of people really wanted to keep the post count visible. Since everyone here ultimately decides how things are going to be, we kept it

My personal opinion is that a post count is pretty useless and only serves as an unnecessary status symbol. But people like it and so we kept it!

I hereby suggest that a new vote be taken. Since the last vote there has obviously been an influx of new members thus making any settings preferences voted by the "old school" null.

Seriously, let the hundreds of newbies decide on the overall structure of the board. It is after all ........theirs now.

another forum i post in has post counts and name status...it's ungodly how many posts people have (some over 120k)

if it ever gets that bad here...get rid of them!
