i have read and followed the directions on how to post a pic in USELESS, but for some reason, they dont work for ME.
I copied and pasted the exact url to another user and she had no problem getting the pic to come up IN the thread, but when i do it, it just gives me links.
when she copied and pasted me exactly what she did to get the pic up, i copied that and got the same links.
im pretty sure its not a user error *this time,* and i was wondering if its a glitch in the system and if there is anything you can do about it.

Are you sure the URL you are copying is that of an actual image and not of a web page? What is the URL you are trying to use?

i right click on the pic in user pics that i have just uploaded and copy the shortcut. there is no pic file extension, but thats what it says to do... am i uploading the pic wrong? do i have to name it xxxx.jpg on the upload page?
OK on a pic uploaded to the site and linked in a thread, the url looks like this:
http://www.dallasdancemusic.com/phot...ncerbarbie.jpg

when i copy a shortcut it looks like this:
http://www.dallasdancemusic.com/phot...r=5171&thumb=1
or a similar variation.
