Can't post pictures in Useless.. there is no God!

here's what I'm doing:

and it's just showing up as a link, not the image itself

Remove the ?5352 from the end and it should work.

this is where i had problems too.
you dont click copy shortcut. the shortcut is the link to the PAGE that contains the picture, and you want the link directly to the picture.

So this is how you do it.

1. go to the image in the DDM photogallery or on any website
2. right click the picture
3. select PROPERTIES (bottom of the list, ya know)
4. copy the URL in the properties screen
this will look like "http:\\...................>.JPG"
5. then insert it into the [img]^[/img] tags, or press the IMG button and paste the URL there
and it will be posted.

like so:


the URL should have a ".jpg" or ".gif" at the very end, otherwise it will not work.

if its a picture you've uploaded into your gallery, youll want to open the actual picture, and not the thumbnail, as the pic will be the size of the thumbnail in your post.

sweeeett.

Look, all you have to do is delete whatever numbers and or/letters come after .jpeg, .gif, whatever on the link before you post it.

The problem is when you right click on the properties for an image in user pics so that you can cut and paste the link into useless...it is adding letters and numbers onto the end of the link therefore causing the image to post as a URL instead of an image…this is from the DDM user pics, see how it added ?2712 onto the end?

So to post it I would simply remove ?2712 before clicking okay…and it will post it as an image (using the image option of course) …it has to read .jpeg, etc. at the end of the link or it will not post correctly…

Ewie, I would try to figure out why the link has extra letters, numbers and symbols in it when it didn’t before…
