Cookies...

So I've been using IE since reinstalling Windows, and last night I DLed and installed Mozilla Firebird, and now I can't log into the site. None of the other sites/msgboards I frequent have displayed any problems, just this one, but the cookie for DDM refuses to show up in my cookie list. I never had a problem with Mozilla before(of course that wasn't Firebird, but still) and since I seem to remember that Eiwe used Mozilla, I was hoping that he or someone else may have some help for me...

I really would rather not have to go back to IE, it's painful enough just firing it up to make this post.

Trust me, I know how you feel I actually use Mozilla Firebird myself. I have not experienced any problems using it with this or any other board. It's hard for me to say what could possibly be the problem. You should end up with 5 cookies from dallasdancemusic.com when you sign on.

Is it just a default installation of Firebird? did you change any of the settings related to cookies? Mine (and others) just worked out of the box.

Let me know and we'll see if we can't get it figured out.

It's Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5a) Gecko/20030728 Mozilla Firebird/0.6.1 on WinXPPro. It was the initial setup, cookies are enabled, and when I turned on the "ask before accepting" switch I didn't even get a request, so apparently DDM isn't even trying to place a cookie on my machine.

Argh.

Opera works fine too, but I prefer Mozilla to Opera.

Very odd indeed. Well I know it's trying to place a cookie on your machine. It always does. There's never an instance when the site doesn't use cookies. Something else must be going wrong. I'm not sure what though. Annoying.

Have you tried using regular Mozilla to see if that works?

Ugh. I'm on dialup, so any download of 10+ mb makes me cringe, but I guess I'll try it.
