Because of cookies. You can select the option to logout of user, or just delete your cookies.

No, it's not a bad thing. Just means you will have to sign on again to all sites that remembered your login. Like this one.

While in your web browser, go into the 'Tools' menu and select 'Internet Options'

Once there, you should see a button for 'Delete cookies'. That should take care of you.

Conversely, on the main page of the forums, there is a "Log out" feature under where it has "DallasDanceMusic" written in black near the top of the screen, but under the links for "User CP / User pics / etc"
