I think what the home owner is trying to do is show how charitable they really are. They added a turret for ever foundation they donate to.

Don't blame that bullshit on the Architect. It being a custom home, then all the gaudy turrets and everything else was most likely the home owners idea.

Then again, maybe the Architect threw that out there to stroke the ego of the home owner. Some Architects can be very, eccentric to put it nicely.

People who like throwing big parties at their houses & have guest rooms. I know I want a house with a large living room (800 sq) & a olympic size pool w/swim up bar & pool house just for that purpose.

You can get all of that, and tastefully done not boastfully done. I know the house behind the Rave theater is larger then this house, but it looks much better.

I wish I had a picture of the house that my dream house is based on. You'd NEVER think it was so spaceous - or even had that pool house just b/c of the design to it. It has a large cottage feel to it.

But shit, there is north arlington that looked really crazy & i liked it to. I just like big houses w/tons of room to entertain & have parties at.
