First of all I'm not bitching, I was just showing the other side of an opinionated debate. Big game against the patriots and the bucs.. yeah maybe not a big deal but its something to consider. Now is the time to play your best football not the first game of the season. If Eli can play like he has been, then the Giants stand a chance. I am not impressed with them beating Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay was a crappy team all year. Their incredible (sarcasm) record of 9-7 boasts more than half of those wins (5-1) against their division which consists of the Falcons (4-12), the Panthers (7-9), and the Saints (7-9). Wnning against Tampa Bay is like winning against the Vikings. It's nice, but it's really not THAT impressive. Without Shockey, the Giants are going to be forced to go to the outside against Newman (matched up on a non-100% Plaxico Burress) and Henry (matched up against Armani Toomer). Boss (NYG back up TE) may have stepped up in the Pats game, but was shut down against Tampa. Roy Williams doesn't have the coverage skills to match up against Shockey, but I am confident that he can play coverage on Boss. NYG will only win this game with big plays on defense. Their offense just needs to try and keep them in the game. Cowboys by 10.
