So yeah I to New Mexico and got hooked on this stuff. Now I cant find this stuff anywhere in Dallas. I need me some enchiladas with Green chile sauce damnit. Anyone know of any Mexican restaurants that have this around here?

My family is from New Mexico so I grew up eating those. It's hard to find in Texas because of all the texmex crap. Some restraunts do have a green sauce though. You just have to ask them..

I made some at home just didnt taste like i remember. I'm buying a bucket of it and freezing it next time i go. that stuff is off the chain. I'm gonna have to check out that spot in Plano.

I grew up in New Mexico - my parents get green chilies shipped to them. I believe they still go through Garduņo's Restaurant. MMMMMMMMMM

There is an awesome little Mexican restaurant in Rockwall, too far I know, but they make the best Green enchiladas ever!!! (enchiladas stuffed with cheese and covered in Verde sauce) Their hot sauce is amazing too.

The green enchiladas around here are different that the New Mexico style. Around here it is made with tomatillos and in New Mexico it's made with Hatch peppers. Both are good but not the same thing. It's almost impossible to get a hatch chilli sauce here in Texas. I've been looking for over a decade and haven't found a restaurant yet that has one. I'm sure there is a couple, but I haven't found them yet.
