Yeah botox is pretty dumb. I'm pretty sure katie curuic had botox gone wrong and now has paralisis on one side of her face. They ban a lot of shit that is much less harmless than botox, but botox is still out there.

Women should just get boob jobs instead of botox; because, no one is going to look at your wrinkly old face if you have huge knockers.

Srsly, though. There is a condition in which professional musicians' hands pretty much freeze up. Neurological damage from too much fine motor usage. Recently, they discovered topical botox injections in the effected muscles can remedy the problem.

I'm not a fan of cosmetic botox, but if it weren't for cosmetic botox they would have never discovered the treatment for this problem...

That's so weird that you bring that up. A really good friend of mine in Houston had this happen. One day, his hands just started getting tighter. It got to the point that he couldn't even hold a mic. He's a guitarist and piano player too. Music is his life. I can't even begin to tell you the hurt in his eyes when the doctors told him they had no cure or reason for it. I don't think the Botox remedy was known or prevalent at the time. He sold off all his gear and pretty much went into a big state of depression. It ended up contributing to the demise of his marriage as well. But miraculously, he started to get all of his control back. Eventually, the problem just went away without any meds or therapy. He is now playing weekly in Houston in a band called Jerk Store.

You do know that Q-med (the makers of restylane) is notorious for animal testing, right?

For things like that the govt. requires FDA testing. Medical is different than house cleaners or makeup.

Restylane and Botox are not just used to make people look better, they are used for a number of other reasons that are completely medical and help people with many different conditions live a normal life, as pain free as possible. They are not always used just to make a woman look younger.
