IMO the people at Mockingbird Bridal are snobby *shrug* I know Denton seems like a long way to drive, but it was well worth it. The store is huge and they have good selection.

I got my girls' dresses at Bridal Boutique in Lewisville. It's a really cute shop.

It wasn't strapless, it had a halter. I did wear a strapless bra though. When I get home I will get you the name of the one I use. I like it so much I bought 2. I got it at Nordstroms.

Speaking of Nordstroms try the Brass Plum department. Its the less expensive section, catering to a younger crowd. They always have dresses. I would also try Dillards. Jessica McClintock has a few stores in Dallas that focus on dresses.

A few other place to try are Bebe and Arden B. You might also check out Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe, sometimes they have cute dresses that are pretty inexpensive.

The only reason why I hate the dress is b/c of my back with all the surgery that was done back in the day...I'll be the only bridesmaid with Stab marks on her back. YUCK
